Blackout pleated curtains are a popular choice due to their easy installation. Mounted on aluminium profiles above the window, these curtains move with the window, so they do not take up space or get damaged. Thanks to their ability to open and close in both directions, you can control how closed or open they are, making light control easy. They are preferred by people because they are the only type of curtain suitable for glass balconies. Additionally, their usage is almost the same in window systems as well as glass balconies.
Pleated curtain models, which are frequently used in offices due to their elegance and effectiveness, are available in a variety of fabrics and colours to suit many different purposes. Two options are available: a blackout curtain that completely blocks light and a semi-blackout curtain that allows 80% of light to pass through.
The ease and speed of the cleaning process is one of the advantages of pleated curtains. For cleaning, you can quickly remove them from the clips and wash them in a basin filled with water. If you prefer not to wash them in a basin, you can wipe them with a damp cloth.
Note: Blackout pleated curtains (full blackout) should not be washed because the back side is foil-lined; it is recommended to wipe them with a damp cloth or sponge.
The Neptune series provides 100% privacy and complete blackout, allowing no light to pass through from the outside, thanks to its comfortable use and ergonomic design. The back of the fabric is foil-lined. Available in 4 colours.
The Uranus series, with its functional use and high-quality construction, provides comfortable living in the space by providing semi-blackout and creating effective privacy, blocking 80% of the light coming from outside. There are 4 fabric options.
Blackout curtain prices vary depending on the characteristics of the fabric series and the dimensions of the area to be covered. For the installation of pleated blackout curtains to be carried out smoothly, the measurements must be taken correctly. You can take your measurements correctly using the measurement video on our YouTube page. The measurement process is the same for glass balconies and normal windows; the width and height of the glass part are measured directly and written down.
IMPORTANT: In glass balcony systems, it is recommended to reduce the width measurement by 1.5-2 cm to prevent the fixed glass panel from opening and closing.
The installation of pleated curtains can be completed in a maximum of half an hour because the installation video on our YouTube page contains all the installation information.
The installation of the products can be done by screwing them to the glass balcony wing profiles or by gluing them if drilling is not desired. Customers can choose between the screwed or glued installation options when purchasing pleated curtains.
