Pleated blinds, also known as glass balcony blinds, are highly practical and advantageous for all windows, especially narrow spaces, thanks to their simplicity and easy installation. Pleated blinds, which are mounted on the window or aluminium profile, move with the window, so they do not take up space or get damaged. Thanks to their ability to be operated from top to bottom and bottom to top, the degree of openness can be controlled, and light control is also easy to achieve. Being ideal for glass balconies, they are highly preferred in this area. For this reason, they are often referred to as glass balcony curtains. However, they are not only used in glass balconies but also in PVC, wooden, or aluminium window systems with great ease.
Pleated curtain models, which are frequently used in offices due to their elegance and ease of use, offer a wide range of fabrics and colours suitable for various purposes. They provide options such as fully blackout curtains that do not allow any light or view through, semi-blackout curtains that allow 80% of light to pass through, sheer fabrics, printed fabrics, fabrics with different patterns, and plain fabrics. We offer 8 models and 57 different pleated blind colours as Fullplise. Additionally, thanks to the day-night model, they can be used as both a sunshade or a sheer curtain.
Easy cleaning is a major advantage of pleated blinds. To clean them, simply remove the clips and wash them in a bucket of water. When you don't want to remove them, you can easily wipe them with a damp cloth or sponge.
Note: Blackout (full blackout) curtain fabrics should not be washed; it is recommended to wipe them with a damp cloth or sponge.
To install pleated curtains correctly, it is very important to measure your window accurately. You can easily take your measurements using our measurement video. The measurement process is the same for glass balcony curtains and normal window systems; simply measure the width and height of the glass and write them down. Additionally, for glass balconies, it is recommended to shorten the width by 1.5-2 cm to prevent opening and closing issues with the fixed glass panel.
Another major advantage of pleated curtains is their easy installation. You can purchase them disassembled and install them easily using our installation video. The product can be installed by screwing it to the glass balcony wing profiles or by gluing it if drilling is not desired. Customers can choose between screwed or glued installation when purchasing pleated curtains.
